Our MA LTC course contains the core curriculum of the NRA home Safety Course LTC-007.

Our basic Firearms Safety Class is a class that fulfills the Massachusetts firearms safety class requirement to apply for your Massachusetts license to carry (Mass LTC) or Firearms Identification Card (FID).  The class covers a broad range of subject matter including firearms self-defense laws in Mass, where you may and may not carry a firearm, lawful storage & transportation, license reciprocity in the US & neighboring states, are part of the core curriculum. Students learn about basic firearms safety, common accidents & myths, semi-automatic pistols, revolvers, single and double action mechanisms, ammunition components & firearm terminology. You will learn about the various types of malfunctions and how to properly deal with them. The class discusses the licensing process in Massachusetts, license renewal and reasons for license denial.

Our classroom is located at the Outer Limits Pro Shop, 148 Centre Street, Holbrook, Ma. Following the classroom portion, students will participate in the live fire shooting portion at the Holbrook Sportsmen’s Club.

The fee for this LTC class is $200 per attendee, a full payment is required to secure your booking.

This class includes a LIVE FIRE SHOOTING portion.
